Over fifty years have passed since the Bedogni company opened its doors, but we still make our products today exactly as we did then, with the same passion, the same methods, and the same quest for quality which has always distinguished our company and our way of doing things. In the company, technology and tradition combine with the unique, favourable climatic conditions of Langhirano to produce the highest quality hams.

When deli meats are superb and well made there is no need to add anything else. This is why none of the deli meats produced and selected by Bedogni contains sources of gluten. A safety measure for the health of celiacs, and for the nutrition of everyone.

Our Certification.

The Bedogni company has always striven to maintain and implement the most stringent quality standards possible, which has allowed it to to reach the very highest quality over the years as well as a good 8 internationally recognized quality certificates:

ISO 9001:2000

Certifies conformity of the Quality System Management in line with the standards laid down by this norm and checked by the certifying body: BM TRADA CERTIFICATION Ltd.

ISO 14001:2004

Certifies conformity of the company’s Environmental Management System which organizes its production processes focussing on safeguarding the environment in line with the standards laid down by this norm and checked by the certifying body: BM TRADA CERTIFICATION Ltd.

EMAS

Certifies conformity of the Quality System Management regarding: Production, processing and conservation of meat and meat-based products; wholesaling of meat and deli meat products; wholesaling of dairy products, eggs, edible oils and fats. This certification testifies that the Egidio Bedogni company has adopted an environmental management system which conforms to EMAS regulations, with the aim of carrying out continuous improvement in its environmental performance and publishing an annual environmental report. It is possible to inspect this report at our head office.

INTERNATIONAL FOOD STANDARD (IFS)

Certifies conformity of the Quality Management System on the basis of the standards imposed by the IFS Food Version 5 protocol published in August 2007 regarding the processing and maturing of dry-cured ham. This conformity was issued by the certifying body: CERMET.

OHSAS 18001:2007

OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) 18001 certification testifies that the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Management System conforms to this norm. This conformity was issued by the certifying body: C.D.Q. ITALIA S.r.l.

UNI EN ISO 22000:2005

This certification testifies that the Food Safety Management System of the Egidio Bedogni company conforms to this norm. This conformity was issued by the certifying body: C.D.Q. ITALIA S.r.l.

UNI EN ISO 22005:2007

This certification testifies the conformity of the Agri-food Supply Chain Traceability System of the Egidio Bedogni company as regards D.O.P. Parma Ham (with B47 code) all the way from the slaughterhouse (with identification of the farms) to the production plant. This conformity was issued by the certifying body: C.D.Q. ITALIA S.r.l.

BRC Food

BRC Food (British Retail Consortium, 2005) issued by CERMET is officially recognized as appropriate to guarantee consistency and transparency in the control procedures along the entire food chain; in our case for the production of Parma ham with or without a bone.
